Responsibilities

Greet, engage and assist customers in the check lane.
Process customer transactions quickly, accurately and efficiently.
Handle various tenders (cash, checks, credit/debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons) per policy.
Adhere to cash handling limits and work to prevent loss.
Follow guidelines on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for stamps, gift cards, and coupons.
Stay current with ads and promotions.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and safety procedures.
Inspect equipment and report needed repairs.
Provide excellent customer service and answer product questions.
