Job summary

Kroger is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Checker to provide outstanding customer service at our Erie, CO store. You will greet customers, handle transactions, and operate the POS system while following company policies on cash handling and restricted items.

This on-site, part-time role requires basic math skills and prior cashier experience, with a friendly, reliable approach to helping customers and maintaining store safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Basic math including counting, addition, and subtraction is required.
• Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the store.
• Process customer transactions quickly and accurately at the checkout.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash, checks, cards and EBT as needed.
• Adhere to policies on restricted sale items and loss prevention.
• Provide excellent customer service and help maintain a safe, clean environment.
