Belk is seeking a Selling Flex Associate to deliver outstanding customer experiences in-store. You will help customers with merchandise selection, make product recommendations, and process transactions, contributing to sales and key store metrics.

The role emphasizes friendly service, merchandise presentation, and collaboration with store operations to meet objectives. This hourly position requires adaptability, a proactive approach, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to create a welcoming environment and personalized service.
• Apply suggestive selling techniques and provide product recommendations to drive sales.
• Build genuine relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
• Process transactions accurately and address inquiries, returns, and concerns.
• Maintain attractive selling areas, signage, fitting rooms, and cleanliness through daily recovery and stock replenishment.
• Enhance product knowledge and selling skills through training and feedback, staying informed on products, promotions, and store events.
• Contribute to a positive store culture by sharing knowledge and celebrating achievements with teammates.
• Support store operations by assisting with fulfillment, pricing, promotional sets, and product placement.
• Follow asset protection procedures, safety guidelines, and security protocols to minimize risk.
