Job summary

Belk is seeking a Selling Flex Associate to deliver a positive customer experience by assisting with merchandise selection, making product recommendations, and processing transactions. This hourly role drives sales and maintains store presentation while working closely with store operations to meet objectives.

You will greet customers, build relationships, apply suggestive selling, stay informed on products and promotions, and support a friendly store environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service mindset and goal to meet store objectives.
• Ability to learn product information and update knowledge.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to move around store areas and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and assist customers to create a welcoming environment.
• Apply suggestive selling techniques and recommend products to meet customer needs.
• Process transactions accurately and handle inquiries, returns, and concerns with professionalism.
• Maintain visually appealing selling areas, signage, and cleanliness.
