Job summary

Belk is seeking a Selling Flex Associate to deliver a positive customer experience by assisting with merchandise selection, processing transactions, and building relationships with shoppers in a fast-paced fashion environment. This is an hourly position.

The role requires adaptability, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth and employee-friendly benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Ability to learn product information and communicate recommendations.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of standing and moving around store, lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Effective communication and teamwork with store staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Apply suggestive selling techniques and offer product recommendations.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain visually appealing selling areas and merchandise presentation.
• Stock replenishment and store replenishment to ensure product availability.
• Answer customer questions and provide information on products and promotions.
• Assist with store operations, pricing, and promotional sets as needed.
• Support a positive store culture by collaborating with teammates.
