Job summary

Ibukun Comprehensive Community Services, Inc. – Ayo Therapeutic Group Home in Chicago IL is seeking an on-call Child Care Worker: MHP / RSA to support at-risk youth ages 14-19.

The role emphasizes compassionate, responsible individuals who create a safe, structured, and supportive household. You will monitor behavior, assist with daily living, facilitate group sessions, apply CPI in crises, document progress, and coordinate with supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in residential/group home with abused/neglected youth.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with State Acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor youth behavior and provide trauma-informed emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities and maintain a clean home environment.
• Facilitate group sessions to build positive social skills.
• Apply CPI techniques in crises to ensure safety.
• Follow individualized Behavior Treatment Plans for each youth.
