Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing seeks a Resident Assistant for flexible scheduling in Bowler, Wisconsin. You will assist residents with personal care, mobility, and nutrition, working in local facilities such as assisted living and memory care.

The role offers contracts including per diem, contract, temp-to-hire, direct hire, and block scheduling, with CEU opportunities and online training. We provide round-the-clock support from our office team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) is required.
• Required compliance training to work in long-term care and assisted living.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist patients safely.
• Good communication skills and a dependable, compassionate nature.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support patients with feeding and nutritional intake.
• Perform light tasks related to ambulation, repositioning, and safety.
• Take vitals, monitor basic health indicators, and report changes in condition.
• Work as part of a care team with RNs, LPNs, physicians and other aides.
• Observe patients and notify staff of any care or behavioral concerns.
