Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation seeks a Physical Therapist to provide therapy services to patients with physical dysfunction in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI. The role includes assessment, planning and implementation of treatment plans, with supervision of PTAs and aides as needed.

Flexible scheduling is available; candidates must complete an accredited PT program and hold MI licensure, with commitment to professional standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.
• Ability to assess and treat patients with physical dysfunction.
• Documentation and adherence to policies and standards of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy screenings and evaluations to determine patient status.
• Provide physical therapy treatment per professional standards and guidelines.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to maximize independence.
• Provide direct patient care and maintain productivity standards.
• Supervise PTAs and aides as assigned.
• Maintain medical records with accurate documentation.
• Participate in patient care conferences and CQI activities.
• Promote continuing education and in-service programs.
• Coordinate in-service programs for groups.
• Assist in new program development and department operations.
