AMR Josephine County in Oregon is hiring Paramedics to deliver ALS care within a fast-paced 911 system. Relocation assistance may be available for full-time Paramedics, with opportunities to participate in FEMA deployments and GMR teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold State Paramedic License.
• Must have a valid State Driver’s License.
• CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS/ITLS certifications.
• Demonstrated physical ability and agility.
• Experience in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action in a 911 system with ~17,000 annual calls.
• Provide ALS care and transport within the Oregon Paramedic scope.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families to reassure care is being provided.
• Serve as Paramedic team lead and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
