Qualifications

• Location: must live in or around Santa Fe, NM.
• Licensing: must be licensed or willing to obtain licensure in New Mexico.
• Education: Master’s degree in relevant field (MFT, Social Work, Counseling).
• Licensure: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT or LMHC/LMSW/LAMFT encouraged.
• Community focus and ability to build a strong client base.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients to support progress.
• Diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Meet regularly with clients for ongoing counseling and adjust plans as needed.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to track progress and outcomes.
• Involve family members when appropriate to enhance support.
• Refer clients to specialists or outside agencies when needed.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure client confidentiality.
