Qualifications

• Must be licensed or willing to obtain licensure in New Mexico.
• Location: Must live in or around Santa Fe, NM.
• Education: Master’s degree in MFT, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Licensure: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT or LMHC, LMSW, LAMFT encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and establish trust with clients to support progress.
• Diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders.
• Create personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
• Meet regularly with clients for ongoing counseling and adjust plans as needed.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor client progress.
• Involve family members in treatment plans when appropriate.
• Refer clients to specialists or outside agencies when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions and progress.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure client confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Licensing: Must be licensed or willing to obtain licensure in New Mexico.
• Education: Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
• Licensure: Both independently licensed (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) and non-independently licensed clinicians (LMHC, LMSW, LAMFT) are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrates a community-minded approach and actively contributes to building and maintaining a strong client base.
