Job summary

Help at Home is a leading in-home support provider hiring Direct Support Professionals to assist seniors and individuals with disabilities in their own homes. You will work one-on-one with clients, offering daily living support, companionship, and community engagement.

Expect flexible scheduling, weekly pay starting at $17 per hour, and comprehensive benefits. You’ll help clients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity and respect in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Requires a valid driver’s license.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before employment.
• Access to insured and reliable transportation.
• Ability to recognize the needs of others and build relationships across backgrounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends with dignity and compassion.
• Commitment to professional development and state-required training.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home assistance with daily activities such as meals, cleaning, dressing, grooming, laundry, and monitoring health needs.
• Provide companionship by engaging in activities, accompanying clients to appointments and outings.
• Promote a safe, positive living environment by communicating with family and other staff about concerns.
