Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• 6 months experience as LPN preferred.
• Active BLS for healthcare professionals from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Hope employees: BLS by Jan 1, 2025; Capital Caring employees: BLS by Nov 1, 2024.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an RN, provides nursing tasks to patients and families as identified in the plan of care.
• Demonstrates clinical skills including medication administration, symptom management, and patient/family relationships.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Documents per policy in the medical record.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Current LPN licensure in the state of employment

6 months experience as LPN preferred

Active BLS for healthcare professionals (AHA or Red Cross)

BLS deadline for Hope or Capital Caring employees
