Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• 6 months LPN experience preferred.
• Active BLS for healthcare professionals (AHA or Red Cross).
• For Hope employees: BLS by 2025-01-01.
• For Capital Caring employees: BLS by 2024-11-01.
• Mobile Driver: valid license and auto insurance per policy.
• Reliable transportation to meet visit schedule.
• Infusion Therapy course completion preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English (written and verbal).
• Flexible schedule to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provide nursing tasks and continuous care to patients.
• Perform dressing changes, catheter changes as per plan of care.
• Observe patient status and report changes to RN.
• Administer medications per policy and document in chart.
• Venipuncture for blood specimens as needed.
• Observe CVL site and manage IV therapy per protocol.
• Report emergencies and assist during disasters or emergencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
