Job summary

Palomacares in College Station, TX is seeking an experienced Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver skilled infusion therapy in patients' homes across the College Station area. This part-time/PRN role requires travel to patient homes and flexible scheduling.

You will administer IV medications and biologics, assess patients, manage vascular access, educate families, and document care per physician orders.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Competency in peripheral IV insertion and central-line care.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Smartphone and reliable internet for scheduling and documentation.
• Ability to meet background and health-screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide home infusion therapy including IV meds, biologics, IVIG, antibiotics, hydration.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after each infusion.
• Initiate and manage peripheral IV access and vascular devices within scope.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Verify medication, dose, route, frequency, and orders before treatment.
• Educate patients and caregivers on meds and infusion procedures.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the clinical team.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation after each visit.
• Maintain infection-control and med-safety in home environments.
• Travel throughout College Station service area for visits.
