Job summary

Rockaway Home Care in Brooklyn is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care to clients in their own homes across Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

As an HHA/PCA you will help clients stay safe, comfortable and independent, assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, and medication reminders, while documenting services and following each client's plan of care.

Qualifications

• New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and other ADLs.
• Providing mobility and transfer assistance.
• Assisting with meals and daily routines.
• Providing medication reminders as permitted.
• Light housekeeping related to client care.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Observing and reporting changes to the care team.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of services.
• Following the client's established plan of care.

Rockaway Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality, one-on-one care to clients throughout Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

We understand that location matters. Our team will work to connect you with available clients based on where you live, your preferred work area, your availability, and current case openings.

What You'll Do

As an HHA/PCA with Rockaway Home Care, you'll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Providing mobility and transfer assistance

• Assisting with meals and daily routines

• Providing medication reminders as permitted

• Light housekeeping related to the client's care

• Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided

• Following the client's established plan of care
  

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certificate

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional

• Strong communication skills

• Commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect

• Previous home care experience preferred, but not required
