Job summary

Rockaway Home Care in Brooklyn, NY is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality, one-on-one in‑home care to clients throughout Brooklyn and surrounding areas. As an HHA/PCA, you'll help clients stay safe and independent by assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship, while reporting changes to the care team.

We offer competitive pay ($18–$22/hour), flexible scheduling, and full-time, part-time, and per diem

Qualifications

• Valid New York State HHA or PCA certificate.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication skills. Previous home care experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and other ADLs.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance.
• Assist with meals and daily routines.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted.
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes in a client's condition to the appropriate care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow the client's established plan of care.

What You'll Do

As an HHA/PCA with Rockaway Home Care, you'll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
