Job summary

Rockaway Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care to clients throughout Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

We offer flexible schedules with pay ranging from $18–$22 per hour, across full-time, part-time and per diem opportunities. Our team connects you with cases based on your location and availability, with ongoing support from office and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Compassionate, dependable and professional.
• Strong communication skills.
• Commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect.
• Previous home care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• As an HHA/PCA, help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and other activities of daily living.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance.
• Assist with meals and daily routines.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted.
• Light housekeeping related to the client’s care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Observe and report changes to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Follow the client’s established plan of care.

Rockaway Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality, one-on-one care to clients throughout Brooklyn and surrounding areas.

We understand that location matters. Our team will work to connect you with available clients based on where you live, your preferred work area, your availability, and current case openings.

What You'll Do

As an HHA/PCA with Rockaway Home Care, you'll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Providing mobility and transfer assistance

• Assisting with meals and daily routines

• Providing medication reminders as permitted

• Light housekeeping related to the client’s care

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s condition to the appropriate care team

• Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided

• Following the client’s established plan of care
