Job summary

Rockaway Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide one-on-one care to clients in Bronx County. Pay is $18-$22 per hour with flexible schedules and options for full-time, part-time, or per diem engagements.

As an HHA/PCA, you will help clients stay safe, comfortable and independent at home, performing ADLs, mobility assistance, meal support and medication reminders, while documenting care and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide license or certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Compassionate, dependable and professional demeanor.
• Strong communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect.
• Previous home care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and other activities of daily living.
• Provide mobility and transfer support.
• Assist with meals and daily routines.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted.
• Light housekeeping related to client care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Observe changes and report to the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Rockaway Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide quality, one-on-one care to clients throughout Bronx, New York

We have clients throughout The Bronx - both East and West

We understand that location matters. Our team will work to connect you with available clients based on where you live, your preferred work area, your availability, and current case openings.

You don't have to travel across the entire county - tell us where you want to work, and we'll work to find an available case that fits.

What You'll Do

As an HHA/PCA with Rockaway Home Care, you'll help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Providing mobility and transfer assistance

• Assisting with meals and daily routines

• Providing medication reminders as permitted

• Light housekeeping related to the client's care

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition to the appropriate care team

• Maintaining accurate documentation of services provided

• Following the client's established plan of care
