Job summary

Stater Bros. Markets, Inc. is seeking a General Merchandise Clerk (GMC) to deliver excellent customer service across front-end, ecommerce, produce and floral areas.

You will handle shopping-cart duties, stocking, price checks, and assist with online order fulfillment, ensuring a smooth checkout and pleasant shopping experience. The role requires versatility to move between departments as needed, maintain clean, organized displays, and help customers with loading purchases to their vehicles.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teammates.
• Stand/walk/bend for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service to customers (G.O.A.T).
• Assist customers with questions, locate products, and relay stock issues to management.
• Bag groceries and help load groceries to vehicles; maintain cart availability.
• Stock shelves and maintain displays; ensure correct pricing and signage.
• Process e-commerce orders and prepare items for pickup or delivery.
• Support Produce, Floral, and other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
