Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, OH to support warehouse operations.

The role involves forklift operation, picking, packing, shipping and cycle counting; you’ll join a team in a clean, safety-focused facility and be paid weekly with base pay starting at $23.00 per hour and additional incentives. The schedule offers a 44–55 hour work week with options on day shift, up to $26 per hour including productivity incentives, a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse setting (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
