Job summary

Springbrook NY, Inc. seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist people in educational, residential, and community environments. You will support activities of daily living, promote independence, and follow individualized service plans.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, attending team meetings, lifting up to 50 lbs, driving Springbrook vehicles as required, and maintaining safe environments. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED; associate’s degree preferred.
• Experience with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for activities of daily living (ADLs) across educational, residential, and community settings.
• Be a good role model and advocate for the people you support.
• Attend team and 1:1 meetings with supervisor; complete required billing and data collection.
• Ensure safe and clean environments and maintain necessary documentation and training.
