Job summary

Springbrook is seeking a dedicated Day Services Assistant to provide ADL support, promote independence, and ensure safe operation across educational, residential, and community settings. You will work with individuals on personal care, daily activities, and goal planning within Springbrook programs.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with flexible scheduling including overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates's degree preferred.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as necessary.
• Proficiency in or knowledge of computer software and e-mail applications, especially Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs independently and assist in lifting weights exceeding 50 lbs.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and be able to drive Springbrook vehicles.

• Be punctual and dependable; Regular staff attendance is vital for the people we support
• Observe, discuss, and help assess strengths and opportunities to develop personal goals and plans
• Support people in choosing goals and activities and how they want to live their lives
• Follow plans and data collection processes, including billing documentation
• Attend team and 1:1 meetings with supervisor
• All other duties as assigned
