Shaw’s and Star Market is seeking a Cake Decorator to create decorated cakes and desserts, prepare icings, and apply designs per recipes and standards. You will manage order details, maintain a clean, organized work area, and ensure displays are visually consistent and well-stocked.

The role requires decorating experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous cake decorating experience required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read and interpret order forms, tags, and production instructions.
• Stand for extended periods and lift/move product up to 45lbs occasionally.
• Available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create decorated cakes and desserts per recipes and standards.
• Prepare icings, apply designs, and finish custom orders.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and stocked display cases.
• Process customer orders and review order details.
• Ensure decoration matches requested specifications and labeling.
