Job summary

Orting School District is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach (Non-Continuing) for Orting Middle School. The role supports the head coach in running a middle school wrestling program, coordinating after-school practices, and ensuring safety and positive communication with students and families.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, CPR, and availability after school. Experience in wrestling and knowledge of techniques are preferred, with eligibility for Washington coaching standards.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching/participating in wrestling.
• Knowledge of wrestling techniques and strategies.
• Meet all WA State Coaching Standards.
• Ability to communicate positively with students, parents, staff and community.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills to run a middle school program.
• Experience working with teenage athletes.
