Orting School District invites applications for the position of Assistant Wrestling Coach at Orting Middle School. The role supports the head coach in overseeing the wrestling program for middle school students within the Plateau League, emphasizing sportsmanship and student development.

The ideal candidate will have coaching experience, knowledge of wrestling techniques, and the ability to meet WA state coaching standards.

Qualifikationen

Requires coaching experience in wrestling or participation in wrestling
Must meet Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) coaching standards
Effective written and oral communication with students, parents, staff, and community
Strong organizational skills to run a solid middle school program
Experience working with teenage athletes is preferred

Assist in overseeing and running the middle school wrestling program
Communicate with students, parents, staff, and community members in a positive, effective manner
Support the head coach in implementing strategies and techniques
Help maintain organization, scheduling, and program administration
Motivate teens to achieve academic success through sport
