Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command is seeking a Sales Associate (Flex) to be the face of our brand at Kings Bay. You will assist customers, highlight our products and services, and contribute to building a strong reputation through educational and professional interaction.

Responsibilities include customer engagement, inventory upkeep, POS transactions, and supporting promotions. High school diploma preferred; retail experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to read, write and interpret instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage customers and provide premier service.
• Ask questions, listen to needs and guide toward products.
• Direct customers to merchandise and share promotions.
• Maintain store appearance and organization.
• Cross-sell and upsell based on customer needs.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale system and handle cash.
• Process paperwork, reports and reconciliations.
• Support inventory and ticketing processes.
• Work a variety of hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
