Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of products merchandise.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math functions such as addition subtraction multiplication and division.
• Ability to multi-task while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
• Able to read, write and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage and connect with customers.
• Direct customers to merchandise and inform them about upcoming events and promotions.
• Maintain store appearance and organize merchandise.
• Cross-sell and upsell products based on customer needs.
• Process transactions using a POS system and handle cash accurately.
• Perform inventory checks and properly ticket merchandise.
