Job summary

Qualifications

• Product knowledge: Basic knowledge of products/merchandise.
• Experience: Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Communication skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; reading/writing and instruction interpretation; customer and team communication.
• Mathematical skills: Basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Reasoning ability: Multi-tasking, teamwork, initiative with minimal supervision.
• Physical demands/work environment: Regular movement, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, indoors/outdoors depending on location.
• Other skills: Enthusiastic, friendly, energetic with a customer-first mindset.
• Work hours: Flexibility to work various hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide premier service.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and guide to merchandise.
• Direct customers to products and inform about promotions and offers.
• Maintain store appearance and organize merchandise.
• Cross-sell and upsell based on customer needs.
• Process transactions using POS system and handle cash accurately.
• Assist with inventory and ticketing; participate in inventories if needed.
