Job summary

PAM Health is seeking an RN to join the nursing unit where you will deliver, direct, and supervise patient care under the direction of Nursing leadership. You will plan and coordinate care, including discharge planning and teaching for post-hospitalization, while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Qualified candidates hold an RN license with state or compact licensure, BLS and ACLS (ACLS required within 90 days of employment). Charge Nurses require ACLS.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if allowed.
• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care.
• Plan, coordinate and provide care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and connect with community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned and required.
