The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan provides individualized nursing care to residents, using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within the full scope of nursing practice.

Collaboration with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team ensures effective care planning and delivery. Responsibilities include supervision of care, delegation where appropriate, and ongoing resident education.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license required where practice occurs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident education and related nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate to licensed/unlicensed staff.
