Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care.

This role may serve as charge nurse and requires an unencumbered RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; RN license required.
• Bachelors Degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff while ensuring safe, quality care.
