Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents in a not-for-profit, Christian environment. The RN will use the nursing process from assessment to evaluation and collaborate with residents, families, and an inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

The role involves coordinating care, resident assessments, education, and delegating tasks to license and unlicensed staff while practicing within state nursing standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Current unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessments, and education; delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
