Job summary

SFS is growing and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to join a nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers a flexible schedule with projects ranging from 12-20 hours per month and opportunities to work with major retailers and brands.

As a merchandiser, you will review instructions, perform merchandising tasks, stock and reset displays, and report progress via mobile devices. Travel between locations is common; DailyPay is available with enrollment.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting with photos and documentation on a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day of service.
