Job summary

SFS is growing and seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This flexible role offers project-based pay and the chance to service some of the nation's largest retailers and brands.

Assignments may range from 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month. You control your schedule and report results via a mobile device.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and implement planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
• Available during weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
