Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to support major retailers and brands. Projects are typically 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service in the first two weeks of each month.

You control your schedule and select projects that fit your availability while earning competitive project-based pay. As a merchandiser, you’ll review client instructions, execute merchandising tasks, manage displays, inventory,

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
