Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers flexible, project-based pay with opportunities to service multiple retailers and brands.

Assignments are typically 12–20 hours per month, with some windows during the first two weeks of each month. You will perform merchandising, resets, inventory, and display tasks, reporting via mobile device and selecting projects that fit your availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
