Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. This role offers flexible, project-based work servicing major retailers and brands across the United States.

Projects are typically 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month. Contractors review client instructions, perform merchandising tasks, inventory checks, and reporting via mobile devices.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail is preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed.
