Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide independent contractor network. This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to pick projects that fit your availability while supporting major retailers and brands.

Typical work includes merchandising, resets, audits, inventory counts, and display maintenance across various locations. You’ll report on mobile, complete same-day reports, and travel between stores as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, or audits.
• Ability to read and execute planograms.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem solving.
• Proficient with mobile reporting.
• Available during weekday daytime service windows.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication.
• Submit reports and photos on the same day work is performed.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
