Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers to service major retailers and brands. The role offers flexible, project-based work with self-directed scheduling, mobile reporting, and dailyPay enrollment options.

Typical projects involve merchandising, resets, stock, audits, and display maintenance across multiple locations. Contractors will review instructions, execute planograms, and report results with photos and documentation.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Mobile technology for reporting and project documentation
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations
• Smartphone or tablet with internet access

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed
