Job summary

Capital AE seeks a Construction Project Manager / Facilities Condition Assessor to lead K-12 school projects from start to finish. You will perform FCA field assessments, coordinate design teams and contractors, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with strong client communication.

Ideal candidates have 3–6+ years in construction PM or related fields, proficiency with Procore/Trimble, and willingness to travel 10–20%. Bachelor’s degree and licenses (PE/RA/AIA) are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects in public-sector or K–12 settings.
• Proficiency with Procore, Trimble, and MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce professional reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school construction projects from inception through closeout.
• Act as owner’s representative on-site; coordinate stakeholders.
• Solicit and procure design teams and contractors; review design documents.
• Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, and quality; address issues promptly.
• Facilitate OAC meetings and document minutes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and client policies.
• Provide regular client updates and leadership reports.
