Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a Relief Female Support Worker to provide flexible support across four homes in Aylsham, Reedham and Hellesdon. You will assist adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, delivering personal care and helping with daily activities.

Role involves building relationships, supporting community access, and promoting independence. Training is provided, and there are varied shifts including early, late, weekends, and nights.

Qualifications

• Have a caring, positive and can-do attitude.
• Be flexible and able to work across different homes and shift patterns.
• Enjoy building positive relationships and working as part of a team.
• Be confident supporting people with varying needs, including personal care.
• Have good communication skills and be willing to learn different communication styles.
• Have basic IT skills for record keeping and training.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Support people with personal care, medication and daily living tasks.
• Help people access their local community, attend appointments and enjoy hobbies and interests.
• Support with shopping, cooking, household tasks and managing finances.
• Build communication and meaningful relationships with people who do not use words to communicate.
• Encourage independence, choice and control in daily life.
• Work across a variety of homes, supporting established teams when additional cover is needed.
