Advocate Health’s Good Shepherd Hospital Radiology department is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and produce diagnostic radiographs as ordered. You will follow ALARA principles, ensure patient identification and comfort, and maintain image quality with RIS/HIS documentation.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, IEMA accreditation, and ARRT certification or eligibility (within 1 year).

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT (RT) Certification or Certificate Eligible; must obtain within 1 year of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by a physician.
• Adhere to ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
• Identify patients correctly and ensure comfort during exams.
• Maintain radiographic quality and complete RIS/HIS documentation.
