The role emphasizes customer service, order taking, POS transactions, and assisting with opening/closing procedures and catering support where needed. The position involves standing for long periods, basic food prep, and safe handling of cash and merchandise in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience that has equipped you with the ability to perform the duties of a food service worker.
• Examples include taking guest orders, explaining menu offerings, basic food and beverage prep, and operating a POS system.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service, greeting guests and assisting with questions.
• Takes orders and processes payment using POS.
• Prepares the restaurant with opening and closing procedures and cleans dining areas.
• Prepares and makes coffee and tea beverages, stocks pastries and grab-and-go items.
• Serves food to diners in a professional and sanitary manner.
• May clean dishes and dispose of trash; may unload deliveries and stock items.
• Position involves prolonged standing and lifting; collaborates with coworkers for heavy items.
