Job summary

Ahoskie Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under a licensed Physical Therapist, you will deliver skilled services to help residents achieve mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state PTA license or registration as applicable.
• Knowledge of Medicare therapy documentation and reimbursement preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled therapeutic treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Carry out individualized treatment plans per physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor resident response and communicate progress to the supervising therapist.
• Document treatments, progress, and daily charges accurately and timely.
• Maintain productivity, documentation, and quality standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care planning activities.
