Job summary

Ramseur Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Ramseur, NC is hiring a Part-time PTA to support physical therapy services under a PT supervision. This role focuses on direct patient care and adherence to state guidelines.

You will participate in team meetings, help document progress notes, and maintain a professional, compassionate approach while providing high-quality rehab services to residents.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient's daily participation and progress on progress note with PT cosignature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as directed by Supervisor.
• Act as a rehab delegate to the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in scheduling of patients as indicated.
• Complete billing and bill patients for PT services rendered.
