Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists the Physical Therapist in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans and collaborates on adjustments to achieve clinical outcomes.
• Implements interventions focusing on posture, balance, locomotion, strength, endurance, flexibility, coordination, pain management, and daily functional activities.
• Administers treatment methods under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and ensures alignment with current practices.
• Monitors patient progress and provides timely feedback to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educates patients on exercises, techniques, and self-management strategies to promote recovery.
• Tailors treatment approaches to patient age, development, culture, and goals.
• Completes clear, accurate documentation of care, plans, interventions, progress notes, and discharge recommendations.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and participates in discharge planning and ongoing therapy recommendations.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
