Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Sarasota, FL for a PRN position at The Barclay of Sarasota. The role focuses on empowering geriatric clients with strength and independence, delivering one-on-one care in a flexible, autonomous setting.

You will work in independent living or assisted living environments, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized therapy and track patient progress.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant training program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification in state of practice.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Knowledge of evidence based therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Physical Therapist in the implementation of treatment interventions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' strength, mobility and function.
• Provide training to individuals and others involved in rehabilitation, and document results of training.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Support individuals' plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the multi-disciplinary team.
