Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at The Barclay in Sarasota on a PRN basis. You will provide 1:1 patient care, assess and treat, and coordinate with the treatment team in a geriatric/outpatient setting.

You bring a bachelor's in PT, licensure, CPR, and experience in independent living, assisted living, geriatrics or home health. We offer flexible scheduling, benefits, and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in the practicing state.
• Current Live CPR Certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of evidence based therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; may lift up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide safety recommendations and referrals.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Collaborates with other disciplines to enhance patient outcomes.
