Job summary

Adoration Health is expanding in Melbourne, FL and is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant to empower clients with strength and independence. The role emphasizes one-on-one patient care, clinical autonomy, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• PTA degree from an accredited program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification in state of practice.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance
• Knowledge of evidence based therapy interventions
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health
• One year preferred
• New grads encouraged to apply
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Moving, lifting, or transferring of patients may require lifting up to 100 pounds
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Physical Therapist in the implementation of treatment interventions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength, mobility and function.
• Providing training to individuals and others involved in rehabilitation, and documenting results.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Support individuals' plan of treatment by documenting and reporting status changes to the multi-disciplinary team members.
• Other duties as assigned
